THANE: A single phrase painted on an autorickshaw turned the breakthrough clue that helped Mumbra police crack the kidnapping case of a 3-month-old toddler and arrest three individuals after scanning over 1,600 CCTV cameras in a 6-day operation.The toddler, Afiya Khatun Shahrukh Ali, was kidnapped on the night of Jan 22, close to DCB Financial institution on Khadima-Machine Street when her mom, Farzana Mansuri (23), was crossing the highway along with her two daughters. A burkha-clad lady provided to carry the newborn and vanished into the crowded locality inside moments.CCTV footage revealed the suspect fleeing in an auto bearing the phrase “Aai” (mom in Marathi). Underneath the steerage of Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbre, 4 particular groups tracked the suspects by way of footage.
