THANE: A single phrase painted on an autorickshaw turned the breakthrough clue that helped Mumbra police crack the kidnapping case of a 3-month-old toddler and arrest three individuals after scanning over 1,600 CCTV cameras in a 6-day operation.The toddler, Afiya Khatun Shahrukh Ali, was kidnapped on the night of Jan 22, close to DCB Financial institution on Khadima-Machine Street when her mom, Farzana Mansuri (23), was crossing the highway along with her two daughters. A burkha-clad lady provided to carry the newborn and vanished into the crowded locality inside moments.CCTV footage revealed the suspect fleeing in an auto bearing the phrase “Aai” (mom in Marathi).
