    New Delhi, Feb 7 (PTI) The Indian Coast Guard on Saturday stated it has busted a global oil smuggling racket by apprehending a set of vessels linked to it, about 100 nautical miles west of the coast of Mumbai as a part of a mid-sea operation.

    The vessels concerned had devised a technique to smuggle massive volumes of low cost oil and oil-based cargo from the “conflict-ridden nations and revenue by mid-sea switch to motor tankers in worldwide waters”, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) stated.
