    Kotak Mahindra Financial institution on Monday introduced the resignation of its Chief Know-how Officer (CTO) Bhavnish Lathia, citing private causes. The financial institution stated Lathia’s resignation had been accepted and that he served his final working day on February 9.

     


    In his resignation letter, Lathia stated: “I must return to the US for private causes. Consequently, I’ll resign as CTO for Kotak Mahindra Financial institution efficient right now.”

     


    Lathia was appointed CTO in March 2025, following the resignation of Milind Nagnur, who had stepped down from his position as Chief Working Officer (COO) and CTO in February 2025, efficient February 15.

     
     


    The financial institution has appointed Nilesh Chaudhari its new CTO and designated him as senior administration personnel. Chaudhari has almost 29 years of expertise throughout international and Indian monetary establishments, together with JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, Citigroup, and IDFC First Financial institution.

     


    Chaudhari has held a number of senior management roles, together with CIO – International Funds at Barclays; head of retail banking know-how and head of Asia Banking Know-how at JPMorgan; and CTO for company and wholesale banking at IDFC First Financial institution.

     


    His experience spans funds, core banking, treasury, money administration, digital platforms, information, lending, and large-scale know-how transformation throughout greater than 20 nations.

     


    An engineer by coaching, Chaudhari holds a Bachelor of Engineering diploma from the College of Poona, and main complicated know-how modernisation programmes. At Kotak Mahindra Financial institution, he performs a key position in advancing strategic know-how initiatives throughout wholesale banking, business banking, treasury, GIFT Metropolis operations, assurance, and enabling features.

     


     Individually, the financial institution additionally introduced the appointment of Aravamudham Narayanan (Vijay Narayanan) as head (innovation and AI) and as senior administration personnel of the financial institution.
