The federal government will promote as much as 5 per cent stake in Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) by way of an offer-for-sale (OFS) starting on Wednesday at a flooring value of ₹254 a share.
“Authorities provides to disinvest 3 per cent fairness within the BHEL with a further 2 per cent as inexperienced shoe possibility,” Division of Funding and Public Asset Administration (DIPAM) Secretary Arunish Chawla mentioned on X.
The difficulty will open for non-retail traders on Wednesday, whereas retail traders will get to place in value bid on Thursday.
If totally subscribed on the flooring value, sale of 17.41 crore shares, or 5 per cent stake, would fetch the federal government ₹4,422 crore.
The ground value of ₹254 a share is about 8 per cent beneath BHEL’s closing share value of ₹276.05 on the BSE.
