SHILLONG, FEB 11: The demise toll within the coal mine explosion at Mynsyngat-Thangsko space of East Jaintia Hills District on February 5, has risen to 31. Ten others have been injured within the incident.
A dynamite explosion occurred on the coal mine, prompting a rescue operation.
“The demise toll has risen to 31 and 10 injured,” the Meghalaya State Catastrophe Administration Authority mentioned in an announcement issued on Wednesday.
