    Coimbatore: Broiler poultry farmers in Coimbatore district on Monday submitted a petition to the district collector Pavankumar G Giriyappanavar, demanding a hike in rearing costs and the conduct of tripartite talks involving the federal government, poultry firms and farmers’ associations.Of their petition, the farmers demanded that the fundamental rearing cost for broiler hen be mounted at ₹20/kg, ₹25/kg for nation hen and ₹7 per quail.
