Dalmatian pelican may very well be reintroduced to British wetlands – Worldwide Dispatch

Giorgos Catsadorakis, chair of the pelican specialist group IUCN-SSC stated: “Wanting forward, wholesome pelican populations may function a strong indicator of profitable wetland administration, reflecting the care, coordination and long-term dedication wanted to preserve these landscapes whereas supporting the numerous social, cultural and ecological advantages they supply.”
