Valcon appoints Linzi Barr as UK chief operating officer

Linzi Barr has joined Valcon in the UK. She arrives as a chief operating officer for the firm’s national wing, overseeing its operations across Britain.

European consultancy Valcon specialises in digital and business transformation, hosting 1,650 consultants across its operations. It partners with enterprises of all sizes, serving them over four key competences: data, AI, technology and consulting.

Linzi Barr arrives as COO for its UK branch, strengthening its leadership team in the country, as the firm continues its expansion throughout Britain. Her appointment comes at a time of increasing demand from organisations seeking practical, value driven support to navigate AI adoption, digital transformation and operating model evolution.

Barr noted, “Valcon has built a strong reputation for combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Barr was previously a member of BJSS’ senior leadership, overseeing operational excellence and driving growth across complex client environments. She arrives at Valcon from CGI, following the technology consulting giant’s acquisition of BJSS.

At Valcon, Barr will be responsible for overseeing UK operations, process improvement, and scaling delivery capability.
