The “Dumb Blonde” podcast host poured her heart out in the newly released book, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.” True to its name, Bunnie XO shared her vulnerabilities with readers, revealing she once contemplated ending her life.

Bunnie XO and Jelly Roll tied the knot in 2016 after a year of dating. They said their vows in Las Vegas, marking their union the same night the “Son of a Sinner” singer proposed.

In her memoir, Bunnie XO revealed that her marriage to Jelly Roll started having problems just two years after they tied the knot in 2016. She began suspecting the singer was cheating amid their marital struggles, but he always denied being unfaithful.

Jelly Roll eventually moved out of their Nashville home following a heated row with his wife, further sending Bunnie XO down the depression path. Her suspicions increased when she appeared without notice at one of his concerts, and Jelly Roll became “irate.”

Bunnie XO, per The Daily Mail, later found out that Jelly Roll “had his ex-fling waiting for him in a hotel down the street.” Her husband’s best friend’s wife confirmed the fears the podcaster had for the past ten months, and that night she contemplated ending her life.

“The pain was so intense that I genuinely just wanted to end it all,” Bunnie XO wrote in her memoir. She recalled grabbing a bottle of pills and wondering what it would be like to die from an overdose. Thoughts like “Would J even care if I was dead?” also flashed through her mind.

Ultimately, Bunnie XO realized that her marriage wasn’t worth dying for, and she chose to live for herself. Instead of calling Jelly Roll out for being unfaithful, she packed her bags and moved back to Las Vegas, marking the beginning of a three-month separation.

Jelly Roll caved first, contacting Bunnie XO and vowing to come clean about his faults. However, he further disappointed his wife by failing to admit he had cheated with a past partner. Nonetheless, Bunnie XO chose to stay and willingly returned to their Nashville home.

Trusting Jelly Roll turned out to have been the wrong move, as Bunnie XO claimed she caught him texting and calling his ex. The singer’s unfaithfulness broke her heart, and she refused to give him another chance to come clean.

Instead, Bunnie XO contacted the woman in question for all the details about their relationship. The mistress revealed she had been in a ten-month-long affair with Jelly Roll, sharing evidence of their romance with videos and screenshots of their conversations.

“And out of everything, that’s what made me sick. It wasn’t about him f-cking this broad — it was about emotionally cheating,” Bunnie XO. The mistress also revealed that Jelly Roll had bought her a house, yet these facts did not push the couple towards divorce, as Bunnie XO chose to save her marriage.

Bunnie XO stressed that her marriage to Jelly Roll did not immediately regain its footing, noting that they still fought. She even confessed to feeling “homicidal” when Jelly Roll claimed he didn’t regret having an affair.

However, the entertainer’s stance has since changed, with The Blast reporting in October 2025 that he deeply regretted cheating on his wife. Jelly Roll admitted his faults on an episode of the “Human School” podcast, describing the affair as the worst moment of his life.

According to Jelly Roll, the affair stemmed from the negative influences around him, as the men in his friend group were all cheating. Their actions made infidelity feel like the norm for the singer, and his substance abuse issues only made it easier for him to join the trend.
