It’s another week of tuning for RuneScape yet again, or rather it will be soon as the MMORPG has confirmed its work on updating its combat skills is in its “final run” and should be ready to go by next week.
The most recent tweaks to combat in its ongoing open beta focus once again on fine-tuning numbers for multiple attacks and abilities, along with some animation updates, new tutorial UI elements, and a reminder about aura changes. The rest of this week’s patch is primarily about more bug fixing.
Meanwhile, Jagex has taken last week to continue to balance high-level Thieving and promises a dev blog about updates coming to its Grand Exchange auction house later this week.
Over in Old School RuneScape, the game began celebrating the IP’s 25th anniversary with 25 mementos last week. Players can gather up by doing celebratory quests, including a helmet, a skeleton tabard, and hats. It’s always about the hats.
