So despite the fact that I am a devout City of Heroes person on this site, I have something of a minority opinion in that I have never liked the original login music for the game. No, really. I think the replacement tune used for when the game went free-to-play sounds much better, and I will die on this hill. Which is weird when a whole lot of people think it’s iconic and awesome. Different tunes for different loons, I guess.
Of course, I have met people who think that some of my favorite login tunes sound grating or weird, and I know plenty of people for whom tracks like the Vana’diel March do not have a deep personal resonance that makes them immediately swoon for the opening notes. So which MMORPG has the login music you like the least? It could be a tune that you think is legitimately bad, or maybe it’s one that you acknowledge is well-made but just doesn’t click for you for whatever reason.
