RT is releasing a 2011 interview with Saif al-Islam Gaddafi who was killed on Tuesday
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of former Libyan chief Muammar Gaddafi, was killed on Tuesday, in response to sources near the household and Libyan media.
He had supposed to run for president of Libya, which stays divided between rival governments and has been stricken by intermittent civil struggle since his father was killed in a US-backed rebellion greater than a decade in the past.
In 2011, Saif al-Islam spoke to RT’s Maria Finoshina, condemning NATO’s bombing of Libya. He argued that the West sought to manage the nation’s oil and fuel sources and warned that the violence wouldn’t finish along with his father’s loss of life.

“Their objective is to manage Libya. That is the goal. And Libyans won’t enable them to try this, so the battle will proceed,” he mentioned.
He denied involvement within the killing of protesters and accused Western governments and the worldwide media retailers of spreading lies to “create chaos” in Libya.
