Addressing claims of political persecution, Zha contrasted the judicial course of in Hong Kong with what he described as an absence of accountability for high-profile figures within the West.

“We’d not have a case like Epstein in China as a result of, in China, they execute pedophiles,” he mentioned.

Concerning UK-China relations, Zha recommended the diplomatic friction could be restricted.
