Udupi: Police arrested 22 individuals from Uttar Pradesh for allegedly finishing up unlawful sand extraction from the Varahi River and seized sand and gear value over Rs 11.5 lakh throughout a raid close to Marattur in Molahalli village of Kundapur taluk.Appearing beneath the steering of DSP Belliyappa KU and Brahmavar circle inspector Gopikrishna, PSI Praveen Kumar R of Kota police station and his group performed a raid at an open area close to Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple at Marattur.
