Coal mining case: ED issues fresh summons to former Budbud OC | Kolkata News – The Times of India

Kolkata: The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday issued a fresh summons to Manoranjan Mandal, the former officer-in-charge of Budbud Police Station, directing him to appear before the agency in connection with an illegal coal mining case. This marks the third time Mandal has been called for questioning. Earlier this month, the West Bengal Police revised its order appointing Mandal as the OC of Budbud and transferred him to the Special Branch of the Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate.
