Belagavi: In a major boost to air connectivity, IndiGo announced the launch of a direct flight service between Belagavi and Mumbai, with operations set to commence from March 29. Bookings for the new route are now open.The move came nearly 2 months after Star Air discontinued its Belagavi–Mumbai service on Dec 25, 2025, leaving the city without direct connectivity to the country’s financial capital. IndiGo earlier indicated plans to introduce the route, following sustained efforts by Belagavi’s industrial community and public representatives.

According to the schedule released by the airline, the flight will depart Mumbai at 10.20am and arrive in Belagavi at 11.35am. The return flight will leave Belagavi at 5.35pm and reach Mumbai at 6.45pm.The restoration of direct Mumbai connectivity is expected to provide significant relief to business travellers and frequent flyers, as Mumbai serves as a key hub for trade, healthcare, education, and domestic as well as international onward connections.
