Rajkot: A 55-year-old man has filed a criticism on the Aji Dam police station in Rajkot alleging that his brother-in-law and 4 others cheated him and illegally usurped his land by misusing a mortgage association.In keeping with the criticism, the complainant, Ramesh Bhuva, alleged that his brother-in-law, Suresh Talpara (45), together with Alpesh Donga, Dharmendra Thesiya (50), Parsotam Lunagariya (50) and others, conspired to deprive him of his land. Bhuva said that Talpara approached him in April 2023 in search of monetary assist, claiming to have suffered heavy enterprise losses. As Bhuva didn’t have the required funds, it was determined to boost Rs 15 lakh by mortgaging a parcel of land owned by him in Kharchiya village, with an assurance that the mortgage can be repaid inside six months.Nevertheless, Bhuva alleged that as an alternative of arranging a mortgage, the accused conspired to get a sale deed of the land registered within the title of Dharmendra Thesiya, with Alpesh Donga and Parsotam Lunagariya facilitating the transaction. He claimed that he was unaware of the character of the doc he was made to signal.The alleged fraud got here to mild when Bhuva later found that possession of his land had been transferred. When he confronted the accused and demanded the return of his property, they allegedly demanded Rs 1 crore, together with curiosity on the borrowed quantity, and threatened that he would completely lose the land if he didn’t pay.Police have booked the accused below Sections 420 (dishonest) and 120(B) (legal conspiracy) of the IPC, together with provisions of the Gujarat Moneylenders’ Act.
