SJAN T20 Inter-Press cricket meet from tomorrow | Nagpur News – The Times of India

Nagpur: Defending champions Lokmat will square up against Deshonnati in the opening encounter of the 26th inter-press T20 cricket tournament organised by the Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN), which begins at the Vasant Nagar ground from Tuesday.The playing kits of all the nine participating teams were distributed at the Vasant Nagar ground on Sunday.

Event manager of Rokde Jewellers Shubhangini Khedikar, assistant event manager Shripad Darbhe, principal of Jyotiba College of Physical Education Vijay Datarkar and social worker Sanjay Chinchole distributed the playing kits.The annual cricket tournament for print media employees is supported by Sports Karma, Rokde Jewellers, Sarangi Foundation Trust and Sports Link. While Rokde Jewellers are the official clothing partners, Sports Link will provide the Wisden white cricket balls for the smooth conduct of the tournament. Man of the match prizes for all the 19 matches are sponsored in the memory of Gangadharrao Chinchole.A total of nine teams, including defending champion Lokmat, last year’s runners-up Navbharat, The Times of India, Sakal, Tarun Bharat, Loksatta, Danik Bhaskar, Punyanagari and Deshonnati, will participate in the 24-day tournament.
