Aduku returns as Edo Queens face Ibom Angels | SportsRation

Edo Queens have been boosted ahead of today’s Nigeria Women’s Football League Matchday 8 fixture following the return of head coach Moses Aduku.

Aduku resumed duties with the Benin based side after completing his assignment with Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets, where he also serves as head coach. His return comes at a key point in the season as Edo Queens prepare for a tricky away test.

The experienced tactician took charge of training as the team wrapped up preparations for the clash against Ibom Angels, scheduled to take place later today at the Uyo Township Stadium.

Edo Queens confirmed Aduku’s return through a post on their official social media platforms, sharing images of the coach linking up with the squad in Uyo.

Currently third in Group A of the Nigeria Women Football League standings, Edo Queens have picked up 15 points from seven matches and will be looking to maintain their push near the top of the table with Aduku back on the touchline.
