Canada is still looking for its first gold medal as the second half of the Winter Olympics starts Sunday.

There are some chances for the drought to end on Day 9.

Here are athletes and teams to watch, along with the full schedule (all times Eastern):

    Valerie Grenier (women’s giant slalom, 4-7:30 a.m.)

The Canadian won a World Cup bronze in this event earlier this year.

Mikael Kingsbury, Julien Viel (men’s dual moguls, 4:30-5:46 a.m.)

Both Canadians are big contenders in this new Olympic event. Kingsbury has won gold in dual moguls at the past four world freestyle ski championships. Viel won the lone World Cup dual moguls event already held this season.

    Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo (cross-country skiing men’s 4×7.5km relay, 6 a.m.)

The Norwegian star could set a Winter Olympic record with a ninth career gold medal if his country wins this race. He already has three golds this year.

Canadian men’s hockey team (vs. France, 10:40 a.m.)

Canada wraps up the first round of the tournament with a chance to get the top seed in the quarterfinals.

Abigail Strate (women’s large hill ski jumping, 11:35 a.m.-1:57 p.m.)

The Calgary native has five medals in this event this season on the World Cup circuit.

Team Brad Jacobs (men’s curling, vs. China, 1:05 p.m. ET)

The curling rules controversy was a huge story in Canada on Saturday. The Canadian men’s rink needs to win and put the story behind them.

Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps (pairs short program, 1:45 p.m.)

The 42-year-old Stellato-Dudek gets her long-awaited Olympic shot after her head injury in training forced the Canadian pair out of the team event.
