While it’s had a rocky existence that’s seen several ups and downs over its decade-plus existence, Closers Online continues to cruise along and has “renewed determination and aspirations” for 2026.
This comes from the pen of game lead Hyun Soo Lee, who wrote an inspirational Lunar New Year letter to the loyal community. “Throughout the past 11 years of service, Closers has weathered many storms, both big and small,” Lee said. “The only reason we have been able to remain here today is because of your unwavering support.”
The letter is full of general if vague sweeping promises, including a commitment to delivering “timely updates” and “fresh and exciting new content.” Lee also said that the team promises “to listen more closely than ever to your voices” and increase its comms over the year.
Closers recently put out a patch on February 11th with a side story and dungeon set in the Incheon Port: Chromite area. The studio also put out a roadmap last December that covers the entirety of 2026.
