How to Get a Doll Head in Dollhouse Bloodshed

The mysterious Doll Head requires a hammer and a certain creepy doll. First, I’ll go over where to find said creepy doll, as you’ve more than likely already obtained the hammer. If not, I’ll detail the acquirement for the item further down in this guide.

Where to Find the Doll Head

The Doll Head needs to be that of the doll that wanders, or rather runs, down the hallways. The moving doll first spawns when you enter the secret walkway that leads you to the freezer room. At this point, you don’t have the hammer, so you’ll have to let it pass you. At this point, it’s harmless, bar being a surprise during your first playthrough.

Eventually, the doll will start to appear around the mansion. It doesn’t matter which floor you’re on. However, you do need to wait for a blackout to occur, which begins around midnight. While the doll is a downright jumpscare at times, you can listen out for it saying “mama”.

Once it approaches, use the Hammer to strike. The doll then falls, and its head rolls off. As you can only hold one item at a time (as well as your flashlight), after picking up the doll head, you drop the hammer. You can then head to the shelf on the first floor, which is missing a doll head. Place the head on the shelf, and wait for it to move, unlocking the secret room.

Inside this room, you can find the Attic Key… which unlocks the Attic. That’s probably obvious by the name, but I’m nothing if not a person who likes to overexplain.

How to Get the Hammer

With the Hammer being a key item for this puzzle, it’s best to know its location beforehand. As mentioned above, it’s located in the freezer room, which is behind the locked door in the kitchen. But first, you need to find an alternative way in.

To do this, head to the mansion’s library and look for a book with the sparkle (the one that lets you know an item is interactable). After interacting with the book, a secret room is unlocked, which leads you to the freezer room. This is where the moving doll first appears.

Inside the freezer, you can pick up the Hammer on the shelf. Just make sure to keep hold of it until you find the doll again. Listen out for the chime of the clock as it strikes midnight, as this is when a blackout occurs. The doll spawns during this event, so keep an ear out for its voice.
