Italy has foiled “Russian origin” cyber-attacks concentrating on the Winter Olympics, says International Minister Antonio Tajani.
He stated web sites linked to the Video games, motels in host city Cortina d’Ampezzo and overseas ministry amenities, together with an embassy in Washington, have been focused.
Cortina d’Ampezzo, certainly one of 5 host clusters for the Olympics, will stage alpine snowboarding, biathlon, curling, and sliding occasions.
“We prevented a collection of cyber-attacks towards overseas ministry websites. These are actions of Russian origin,” stated Tajani.
