HYDERABAD: A 46-year-old BJP candidate from Ward 6 of Maktal Municipality in Telangana’s Narayanpet district died by suicide early on Tuesday, police stated.“As we speak, round 5:30am, Mahadevappa, a 46-year-old BJP candidate from Ward 6 in Maktal Municipality, died by suicide. We now have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The deceased physique has been shifted for autopsy examination,” Narayanpet Police stated.Reacting to the incident, Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao alleged that Mahadevappa was pushed to suicide as a consequence of harassment by Congress leaders, together with a neighborhood minister.“As we speak early within the morning, BJP tribal candidate from ward 6 of Maktal municipality dedicated suicide due to the harassment by the native minister Vakiti Srihari.
