Kanpur: The fourth special campaign under the Special Intensive Revision Programme–2026 will be organised as Booth Day at all 3,770 polling stations in the district on Sunday.District election Officer Jitendra Pratap Singh said, as per the instructions of the ECI, a special campaign is being run to make the voter list more accurate, updated and error-free. Earlier, campaign days were organised on Jan 11, 18 and 31. On this day, claims and objections related to the addition, deletion or modification of names in the voter list will be accepted at the scheduled time. He informed that BLOs will be present at all booths in the district from 10.30am to 1.30pm. The draft voter list published on Jan 6 will be available at each booth. Forms 6 (for addition of a new name), 6A (for Indian voters residing abroad), 7 (deletion of name) and 8 (amendment) will be available in sufficient numbers with the BLOs. Help desks will also be set up at polling stations, where citizens will be assisted in filling the forms. The DEO requested all eligible citizens to reach their respective booths at the scheduled time to verify the entries in the voter list.
