CGST officer caught taking Rs 5,000 bribe | Rajkot Information – The Instances of India

Rajkot: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Dharmendra Yadav (30), a Class-II officer of the CGST division red-handed whereas accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000. The complainant and his accomplice had began an export-import agency. As a part of the verification course of, Yadav had visited the agency’s deal with for inspection. The complainant alleged that after the verification, Yadav demanded Rs 5,000 on Feb 8 in alternate for submitting the ultimate report.

ACB officer R R Solanki instructed TOI that the lure was carried out close to Racecourse Floor, and the complete bribe quantity of Rs 5,000 was recovered from the accused.A case was registered in opposition to Yadav below the Prevention of Corruption Act.
