The temple metropolis of Tirupati reverberated with non secular ecstasy on Wednesday in view of the dual Brahmotsavams presently underneath manner at Srinivasa Mangapuram and Kapila Theertham temples.
The deity of Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy was dressed up as ‘Rajamannar’, mounted on ‘Kalpa Vriksha Vahanam’ together with these of His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, and carried round Srinivasa Mangapuram temple in a grand procession.
In response to Hindu mythology, Kalpa Vriksha is a wish-fulfilling tree and taking a glimpse of the Lord’s procession on this provider is believed to convey prosperity. Devotees shouted ‘Govinda Govinda’ through the procession.
Within the night, the deity was carried in a procession underneath a stunning cover referred to as ‘Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam’. Dressed as Lord Krishna, the deity was proven slaying the demon Bakasura, represented as a crane.
On the fourth day of the annual Brahmotsavams at Kapila Theertham, the deities of Sri Somaskanda Murthy and Kamakshi Ammavaru had been taken out on a procession on ‘Makara Vahanam’ amid Bhajan and Kolatam carried out by artistes.
Within the night, the deities had been taken on ‘Sesha Vahanam’, which turned out to be the cynosure of all eyes.
