PUNE: A viral video has surfaced displaying a 14-year-old boy, accompanied by his father—a candidate within the Zilla Parishad elections—allegedly casting a vote in Maharashtra’s Solapur district.The video exhibits Arjun Sinh Mohite Patil’s son standing beside him inside a polling sales space at Yashwant Nagar in Akluj and urgent the EVM button through the polls held on Saturday.Responding to the controversy, Mohite Patil later claimed that the boy had solely needed to see how the voting course of works.“My son needed to see how a vote is forged and that’s the reason I took him inside. The polling officers raised objections, however I requested them to permit him to face subsequent to me whereas I forged my vote.
