Mysore/Mysuru: The Union Funds 2026-27 offered yesterday by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has positioned sturdy emphasis on youth empowerment and technology-driven sectors, in keeping with the imaginative and prescient of a developed India, opined Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar.

The Funds displays fiscal self-discipline and financial stability, with document public funding in infrastructure. Development plans are being prolonged to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, notably in sectors similar to semiconductors, biopharma, and electronics manufacturing.
Training to employment
The Authorities has prioritised ability improvement in areas together with AVGC (Animation, Visible Results, Gaming and Comics), healthcare, tourism and regional development centres, aiming to create clear pathways from schooling to employment, he stated.
Calling MSMEs the spine of India’s economic system, Yaduveer highlighted allocations geared toward bettering credit score entry, selling expertise adoption, strengthening market linkages, and enhancing ease of doing enterprise.
The Funds proposes investments in freight corridors, inland waterways and high-speed rail connectivity. These measures will improve regional connectivity, create sustainable financial alternatives and lay a powerful basis for a resilient, future-ready nation, he added.
